I just updated to the latest version of eFiction (including the tinyMCE folder) and am having a little trouble with the tinyMCE. When editing a story, users can select text and hit "Underline" or "Strikethrough" and it shows up fine in the textbox, but once they hit preview or submit that formatting is gone.
I'm really not sure where the problem is. I can get it to work fine in some cases, mostly administrative things like custom pages or the welcome message, but in other areas like News or in stories it doesn't work.
Everything else in the tinyMCE boxes seem to work fine (bold, italic, bullet list etc) but Underline, Strikethrough and Font Size does not.
Is there something I can add in the header.php? Is there some setting that lets it work in some places (like "custom pages") but not others?

Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: tinymce format formatting underline strikethrough
State the nature of your problem: Some text formatting (underline, strikethrough, font size) not working on the user end when editing stories.
Since there's no test admin account listed, I tried to register on your site (which looks great, btw) to test the TinyMCE formatting myself. However, I never got an email with a password (not even to my junk folder). Since that's the case, I'm just kind of guessing, but in the admin panel of your site, under settings, is there anything in the TinyMCE configurations box? I found that the settings in the box were always hit or miss, so I blanked it all out and used the TinyMCE settings in the header.php file.
Hey SJP, sorry I didn't come back and update!
What I ended up doing was pulling the tinyMCE folder from the backup I took before I updated and re-uploading that to my install. That seemed to solve my formatting problems.
I did manage to replicate the problem on our duplicate/tester site. I uploaded the tinyMCE folder included with the most recent eFiction release and again, no underline, strikethrough, or font size change. There's nothing in the tinyMCE settings.
If you'd like to poke around and see the problem (since it may affect people performing new installs of eFiction)

(also SJP: I registered you there and made you an admin, your pw is your email)
Side note: Another problem I was running into after I updated tinyMCE was that the tinyMCE frames were freaking out in Safari. You couldn't click-drag to select anything in the frames without it jumping to the end of the page. I googled it and found that this was apparently a recent Safari problem and it was only fixed in March. So, FYI, if anyone has users that are having issues with tinyMCE in Safari, see if they need to update to the latest version of Safari.
