eFiction 3.5 has been released. This is a security update to close 2 holes in the lost password page and the top 10 lists. There are some other bug fixes included as well.
Thanks for the release, I've updated my site successfully. But:
1. The Tinymce folder is missing.
2. What are the files in the "hooks" folder? I've deleted it for now, because the files don't looked like eFiction stuff.
and 3. a filled config.php is in the root folder. I hope it's only for your test site, otherwise the chances are good that you'll be hacked soon. 😀

Tammy I know it's too much to ask, but do you have a list of which folders/files you updated? I'm translating all English words (not just language folder) for my Turkish site and if some files didn't changed at all, my work would be easier..

A friend has a website running version 3.5. They are experiencing a number of problems.
Not all of the authors show up under "Authors"
The story count is in the negative
New chapters do not cause the story to show up under "Recent Stories".
Does anyone know where we can look to change those things?

This isn't really the place for help with 3.5, and we couldn't really offer you any since you didn't provide enough information.
First check the bugs forum to see if these have already been reported. Sometimes people will also post quick fixes until the next version comes out. (Also check the support thread forums. You can search easily with the search function so you don't have to look through hundreds of threads.)
If he's having problems that aren't reported in the bug forum, they'll probably need to be reported so Tammy is aware of the issues. You should be sure to fill out the templates to make sure we have the needed info.

What Carissa was saying is that you don't ask for support in this thread. You would ask in the appropriate Support Forum, for example General Support.
Is the eFiction version number supposed to change to 3.5 after we upgrade?
