Before upgrading, it is important that you make backups of your files and database!
1. Simply download the latest 3.x.x from the downloads page.
2. Unzip/extract all the files.
3. Upload all the files except for config.php.
Other files & folders you may want to exclude uploading include:
/tinymce -very large & is usually not updated
/skins - may overwrite your customizations to default skins
/images - may overwrite your custom images4. Run update.php Should no longer be necessary when you get the latest updated .zip.
