Upgrades from one major revision to another 1.1 to 3.0.X or 2.0.X to 3.0.X require various changes and additions to the database. The script will auto-detect your version and start the upgrade for you.
For minor revisions in the script (from 3.0 to 3.0.2 for example) there are no major upgrades to the database. Simply upload the updated files and then goto Admin->Archive Maintenance->Run Update to update your version number.
Tammy, since I have not much knowledge about databases, mysqul and php, do you do upgrades for members? Your usual fee? How much time would you need for 2 sites?
