State the nature of your problem: i am using XAMPP version 7.2.11 when i try installing efiction, it gets stuck on the first step and give this message Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:xampphtdocscollabinstallinstall.php:903 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in C:xampphtdocscollabinstallinstall.php on line 903. i know it is not a problem with the database server as i have installed other software on the site such as wordpress and mybb and had no issues with the mysql.
