URL to your eFiction: http://www.gigglesnort.net/fiction
Version of eFiction: 3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: rss, links, wrong
State the nature of your problem: I have rss.php set up to work with twitterfeed and noticed the links are wrong when it's published. The links go to http://www.gigglesnort.net/fiction/fiction... so it's adding an extra /fiction to the URL. In site settings I have the site URL as http://www.gigglesnort.net/fiction. When I go to http://www.gigglesnort.net/fiction/rss.php the links are wrong on there too. Any idea what's causing this problem?
Do you have a test account for us? Upon request
Any help for this? It's been 17 days since I posted.
If you disable twitterfeed, does it fix itself?
Is the problem just the RSS linking the wrong URL or is there an additional problem? Your description kind of reads like there's two areas where it's linking wrong.

Look at your rss.php file in your efiction folder. Toward the bottom is a whole huge $query= section. Hunt down for:
<link>$url/viewstory?sid=
Is url listed once or twice before viewstory? There should only be one, as shown above.
Also, search the file, there should be only two instances of $url listed, one mentioned above and another is the rss.= listings right above it. As the first instance is showing the correct link (via viewing the page source of your feed), it sounds like there is something wrong in the php in the second instance, where you link to the story.

Thanks for your replies. I checked rss.php and mine said:
$url/fiction/viewstory.php?sid="
I removed the /fiction and it now appears to be working correctly. All links point to gigglesnort.net/fiction and don't have the extra /fiction in the url.
