Hi,
Many of my users on my efic site have had their reviews spontaneously reset. This affects "most commented on" etc stories. Some users even have minus reviews. For instance, a particular story had over 100+ reviews and now has minus -2.
Its really frustrating for some of our writers. Is there any fix for this or any insight as to why it happened?

Have you tried using archive maintenance to recalculate this info? I'm not sure what would be causing it in the first place. I know sometimes when I'm working in the backend modding the script sometimes it will halt those numbers but a recalculate should fix it and get it back to working normal.
Hi, thanks fro the reply, but the recalculate was what actually caused the problem initially.
Any other ideas?
I believe what the recalculate reviews section does is clears out the review number then recounts for each story/chapter. It sounds like maybe it's getting stuck and not getting to the recount part. Have you tried a fresh install of the admin/maintenance.php file?
