ok so I hope this isnt a stretch...

I searched and saw there's a mod for vbulletin user and skin intergration but I'm not looking for that or a bridge.

I have my vbulletin board and my efiction archive on two seperate add-on domains, but both under the same host and account. on my message board I have a "Recent Threads" box on the side column...

I'm curious, is there a way I can use the same coding and add that as a block to my efiction site? with some modification I'm guessing.

here are the links....

efiction - http://nsyncfiction.net/nsync_fiction5

thanks in advance for any help! πŸ˜€

If there's an RSS feed for it you can use my RSS feed block. Right now it wouldn't give the exact same info but it could be modified. I know SMF has RSS feed options, but I don't know about vbulletin.

vB does have RSS feeds, so that may be the best way to go.  Just go into the AdminCP and enable them under the vBulletin Options page.

Once you have it enabled you can call the RSS with the following URL

http://stillnsync.com/board/external.php?forumids=???

forumids can be one or several forums separated by ,

The other option would require including global.php and extracting the data yourself.  vBulletin.org has some good tutorials on how to do this.  The RSS option should be much easier.
