To make a long story short, I have multi domains, but shut down one of them and then merged that website’s archive onto another domain.  To prevent any problems, each efiction archive has their own subdomain.  However, since the move, I have run into a little problem.  New members cannot register.

Before I moved the archive in question, it had a higher MySQL version than the domain that it is on now.

URL to your eFiction:  www.kftlc.fanfictionwriters.com/kftlcfics

Version of eFiction:  3.3

Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?:  No

Version of PHP: can be found out from your host. php 4.

Version of MySQL: can be found out from your host  MySQL 4.0.23

Have you searched for your problem: (yes/no) Yes

If so, what terms did you try:  Problems registering new users/members.  Error (1062).
Someone else had the same problem as I do, but I don't think it was solved.

State the nature of your problem: Copy and paste any errors you are receiving.
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: INSERT INTO fanfiction_authors (penname, realname, bio, email, date, password) VALUES ('members pen name', '', '', members’ email address', now(), '1f3870be274f6c49b3e31a0c6728957f')
Error: (1062) Duplicate entry '0' for key 1

I took out the real new members pen name and email address, but you get the general idea.  I also have debug on but nothing has shown up to give me a clue of what happened or what I must have done wrong.

I think it's because you have a table prefix ... am I right in assuming that?

archive: dramione.org
site: accio.nu

Available for skin/mod commission! 🙂

Yes, one does.  Instead of fanfiction_settings.  It is settingsfanfiction_settings.  If this is the problem, would I just rename it fanfiction_settings, or would it cause more problems?

To be honest, I have no idea. 😛

I got the "same" error:

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: INSERT INTO ink_fanfiction_authorinfo(`uid`, `info`, `field`) VALUES('', 'penname', '1');
Error: (1062) Duplicate entry '0-1' for key 1

I'm not sure if it's fixed yet, I used this:
