URL to your eFiction: http://adtoro.t35.com/install/install.php
Version of eFiction:3.3
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?:no
Version of PHP: n/a
Version of MySQL: n/a
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: installation guideline, beginners

State the nature of your problem:

I am sorry but I am a complete noob as you would call it to the eFiction system. This is the first time I have ever tried to use it. I have an account on angelfire but it only works with HTML so needless to say I know nothing of PHP.

I have uploaded ever folder and read README.txt. I don't know what CHMODing is so i just did what it said and went to my site name for the whole installation thing. But when I get there all I get is a plain black screen. Could you please help?

You cannot use eFiction on Angelfire.

Try Freehostia instead.

You need to find out the version of PHP and MySQL. If you don't know, ask your host. You need those both to run eFiction on your site, not just HTML.

Looks like at least part of the problem is your host is trying to add a pop-up add to the page and doing it badly.
