Favourite Authors Question.

ok so I'm having a look now 😀 in 'favourites' on phpmyadmin but I've really no idea what I'm looking for lol

The concept is to use php to pull data garnered from the mysql gotten through phpmyadmin and display it in a human understandable format. Wish I was able to. Well the favorites area in the mysql has the data you are looking for, make sure you are in browse and not structure. Otherwise there is somecode for this {favof} works after the module is installed, but only in some places. I wish it could be made available next to story entries single or the listings.

In phpMyAdmin -- click SQL, put in this:

SELECT count( fav.item ) AS count, author.uid as uid, author.penname as penname FROM fanfiction_favorites AS fav, fanfiction_authors as author WHERE fav.item = author.uid AND fav.type = 'AU' GROUP BY fav.item ORDER BY count DESC

If you have prefix, then add it before the fanfiction_favorites/authors. If you're using it for Enchant, it will put up ~ 6500 members -- if they've all been favourited! If you want to limit it to like thirty or something, just add "LIMIT 30" after "count DESC". :p

I have a Statistics panel. To add one. go to the admin panels and click on the Panels link.

Add a new one:

Name: stats
Title: Statistics
URL to Panel:
Level: 0
Hidden:
Type: P

I think that's all there is to it. I don't remember since i added it so long ago, and I'm sure I got it from someone else, so I'll just give all credit to Tammy for such a cool feature. 🙂
