I know there is various threads and sources of info on this topic but I didn't find anything that exactly answers my question so I thought I'd ask generally before I did anything irreparable.
I have an archive at worldsfinest.comicslash.com. I want to change the domain name to worldsfinest.fictionado.com because I don't want to renew the comicslash.com name.
My host would be willing to duplicate the contents of one subdomain over to another subdomain.
Is there an an easy way to simply change the location of the archive without messing all the links and everything else up?

You mean they're willing to point the new domain fictionado.com to where the old comicslash.com domain files are located? The sub-domain is the worldsfinest part which is the same. If so all you need to do is change the siteurl in the site settings. If they're talking about something else, you'll have to explain more fully what they're willing to do for you.
