A friend and I have run a fairly popular fanfic site for the past four years and recently decided to venture in to the Twilight fandom by opening up a new archive. There are already a few Twilight archives on the web, but we plan to tie in a lot of features like fan art, videos, etc. to be more inclusive. We just opened yesterday and are looking for new members! If you're a fan of the series by Stephenie Meyer, be sure to join 🙂 Everyone else, let me know what you think! The layout still needs some tweaking here and there so any help would be appreciated.
I like what you've done with your skin 🙂 Especially how you can change the colors. My suggestion is that you move the skin changer somewhere else, it looks a bit out of place at the top. And maybe make the other top blocks smaller? They look out of place too because they're so big and the login, welcome and news block are smaller.

I'm not sure the layout works right in FF (I checked it in I.E. and I'm sure that's how you want it to be displayed).

idk, I kind of liked the color changer at the top. I didnt think it looked out of place and I might not have known what it was right away if it was, say, at the bottom of the right column.
The thing that stuck out to me the most was the text. At first, I thought it was too big (the footer is definately at least 1 font size too large) but then I realized it was the spacing between characters. The letters in a word are too far apart imho. Looks odd.
Other than that, I think the layout was basic and easy to follow. Love the color changer. Nice touch. I'm more used to stylish, graphic-based templates and favor them over the flat, squarish, color-oriented ones, but yours looked pretty good to me. Especially if you really have to watch your bandwidth. Good job on that.
