Okay looks like the newlines aren't being converted to HTML <br />'s when it's being inserted into the log if the person isn't using tinyMCE. I'll fix that with the next update. Previous log entries will still be wonky but new ones will go in correct.
This will be fixed in the 3.3 update. 🙂
