State the nature of your problem: For some reason tinyMCE is not working properly on my archive. I checked to be certain the plugin was active on both my account and admin areas (and it was) I also uploaded the most recent version of tinyMCE from their site. What's weird is that it was working fine before. Suddenly it's only working part-way. It seems that when I'm adding a story or chapter, I only see the bold, underline, undo and bullet point options. The alignment and image options are missing as well. Most important, nothing comes up unless I uncheck tinyMCE in the story/chapter editing page.

I had a very similar issue when I upgraded my site to 3.5.3. I could never get the TinyMCE configuration to work properly in the admin panel, so I cleared it out and used the TinyMCE settings that are already in header.php. If you want to try this, make sure you delete everything from the TinyMCE configuration box under settings. If there's anything left in there, it won't look to the settings in header.php. When I wanted to customize the TinyMCE buttons and such, I just did it in header.php.

Hi thanks for this post, it worked for me. But I cant find the emotions in the text editor. How do I get those up please
