Everytime before I install something on an external Webspace I install it on my localhost on my very own Computer to test if it works.
So I did this with eFiction as well. I installed it and tested everything. Everything worked out fine. Everything!

But since this morning, it doesn't shows me any skin. I installed a new version to see if it has to do with my installation. No everything is fine with the new installation. So I did copy and paste the new files over the old ones. But no changes, no skin, no possibility to change the skin.

Here a picture as it looks ... and I don't know what could have happened, I didn't change anything.

Has someone any idea what the problem could be??
I have newest version of eFiction (3.4.2) installed.

Probably an invalid skin selected either as the site default or your personal skin.

You also might have your skins folder inside of a skins folder...

for instance say you were using CSSZen
instead of the file being in Skins->CSSZEN
you might have it installed as Skins->Skins->CSSZen (or even Skins->CSSZen->CSSZen)

I've accidentally done that when uploading a new skin to the skins folder.

none of all. I changed really absolutely nothing.
Well, nothing I remember. The only thing I do remember is that I changed the font, because I integrated eFiction into a CMS via iframe (so no bridge, mod or whatever).

After a new installation everything is fine again.
I thought it could be cause of the database?

Oh, thanks for the quick answers, after all.  πŸ™‚
