If so, what terms did you try: sitekey
State the nature of your problem: Update -> Step 2 requires submitting a sitekey. Either with the randomly generated sitekey or one I generate, clicking "Submit" yields a different sitekey no matter how many times I submit. I cannot go beyond step 2, and there isn't an error message.

Hmmm... I would try to create the settings table manually, and put in the necessary information. Also maybe manually creating the stats table. The SQL queries should be in the docs folder of your download.
Hopefully that will work.
Also, try uploading all the files again. Sometimes things aren't uploaded correctly, or files are skipped.

I have tried manually creating fanfiction_settings & fanfiction_stats tables prior to running the update, but I'm still stuck at step 2. 🙁 I've also made sure all files were uploaded correctly.
Please advise. 🙁
The trouble resides in upgrade11.php at line 983 (for me that was)
What it says:
