I didn't list all of my info because I'm not having a problem. This is just an inquiry.
We have a site that is basically closed to the public. Fiction is posted to the site by
the owner, but registration isn't allowed because it's a personal site to showcase
the work of just one author.
The basic problem is that people still register even though they've been warned
that their accounts will be deleted. Is there any sort of code or anything that can
be done to remove/hide the registration link that appears on the homepage to
prevent this?
Thanks!
Edit your skins to remove the code. It will be in either the header.tpl, the index.tpl, or it could also be in the blocks section of your admin panel. You should probably read the creating/editing skin docs in the /docs fodler before you start to make sure you know what you're doing. π
I think it looks something like {register}. Just delete that from all those places of all those skins. Hide your log-in as well, make sure you know how to get to it though.
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
