Description: This module will let you click the word icon on your story page and have the story pop up in MS Word format.  Useful for visitors who save the stories to their hard drive.

Demo: http://sgxover.hugosnebula.com or http://efiction.hugosnebula.com/preview/

Download: http://efiction.hugosnebula.com (You must be a member to access the downloads.)

I just updated the .zip.  I hadn't updated the install script to comply with the changes in 3.1.

Hey Tammy, was just styling the printword.css and noticed this on line 2
@page { margin: 1in; }

is that meant to be
#page { margin: 1in; }

thanks
jacci

No it's @page.

http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/page.html

However, having played with this extensively for this module and stuff I had to do with work let me advise you not to expect much.  MS Word does not do CSS well at all.  I'd keep it as simple as possible.

Thanks tammy, am looking at link now so i can see what it is all about.

knowing Word, nothing is ever easy, and it dont like playing with the other kids in the playground either, so i will keep my expectations low.

this mod is an awesome addition though, i am very excited about it.

thanks

Well if you figure out how to make it pagebreak let me know.  I've probably wasted a month of my life trying to get Word to pagebreak where I want based on CSS.

Can't download a thing, because the http://efiction.hugosnebula.com/downloads.php has no downloads in the eFiction 3.0

Do you have another download link?

I just downloaded and installed the mod. Everything works fine. Only one error wich comes up when you open the story in the word document. I get an error that says:

Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in /includes/storyblock.php on line 103

I really dunno what that means..lol..It doesn't interfere with anything else, just displays up the top of the word document. (I am using version 3.4.3.)

I've got this same problem using 3.4.3. I've only just installed the Print to MS Word Mod with this version (I didn't have it previously).
