Hi

I just upgraded the efiction script to 331. I just added a new memer on their behalf and checked it out to see if it was working as it should.

I noticed in the members panel after logging in, that it has lost the most important  links. Manage favourites, add favourite authors etc, manage edit stories etc.

It only shows edit bio, edit preferences, view statistics and log out.

what have I missed and also is this a known bug?

many thanks
Kate

Is it just for that user? You probably have to release their account to them before everything will show up. I think you go to admin>members>authors input by admin but I can't check because my site is bridged and that feature is disabled. πŸ™

Hi Carissa

No it is for all members. I also logged in as myself to see if it did the same to my own account and it did.

I validated the user as soon as I added them.

My site is also bridged and it was working fine before I upgraded it πŸ™‚

best wishes Kate

Hi

Ok I checked again in the admin panel in efiction and checked out what you said :).

It was a setting that got changed somehow so that I had to release the account to the author again. sigh. Not sure what I did there  πŸ˜•  What I did as well was to check that the settings for accounts to be revoked had not been set and they had been and again am not sure how this was done either. I remembered I was looking around through the admin panel yesterday.

I changed this setting to cancel and it all came up. I remember I was trying to bridge efic to efic but not sure I did that right yet. Thank you πŸ™‚

phew!!

sorry that I do not put new and solved etc against my posts in your forums, I still have not been able to work out where I find these to put it in.

Many thanks πŸ™‚
Kate

Oh, you just have to edit the first post and edit the title.

Glad you got your problem figured out.
