ohh goodness πŸ˜€ Sorry guys had no idea where to post this but had an efiction database question.

1. I am currently in the process of switching web hosts (yay)
2. I know how to export and save the mysql backups through myphpadmin but here is the tricky part, I haven't a clue how to import them to the new webpage.

Do I...transfer my efiction folder first then import the databse tables after creating it in databases? (Could it really be that simple?) I really don't want to stuff up (shudders) in fact I'm terrified of losing everything if I do it myself.

The new webhost told me that I have to ftp all my files to the new host first and keep my old host active until I'm positive the site will work and I'm quite happy with that but really scared to transfer tables et cetera (I haven't switched the webhost yet I just need to know what I am getting myself into)

Use phpMyAdmin to import the database tables/data into your new database
