Hi

URL to your eFiction: http://thespiritofthelight.com/Members/Library/archives/index.php
Your version of eFiction: 3.3.1
Latest patch: YES
Mods: non yet, new set up
Version of PHP: 4.3.11
Version of MySQL: 5

yes, searched for problem and wanted to ask few more questions based on efic to efic please.

A while ago I said that I was hoping to have 2 lots of efic linked together and so they were bridged with the smf. I am at this stage now. πŸ™‚

the above site B is run off from the tables used by

http://thespiritofthelight.com/Members/writings  at least I hope they are πŸ™‚

Ok site A is bridged with the smf, site B has its tables run off from site A that I installed this evening. Hope that makes sense. I still have to log in on site B, although I would like it so that I do not have to log in seperately to the second site. So if I log in via the smf forums, I can also access site B right away without logging in again.

I know what I mean anyway  πŸ™‚
How do I go about doing this please? I changed the code as mentioned for the author tables in queries.php but I have used a _ after the prefix name ... does that matter but how can I have this set up so that I am automatically logged into the Members/Library/archives without logging in again?

took my post regarding the skins down, I had resolved this issue myself. πŸ™‚

advice and help would be appreciated on the loggin.

many thanks
Kate

I think if I read this right you've got A bridged to SMF and B bridge to A.  I think what you need is both A and B bridged to the same SMF.

Hi Tammy

Ok the bridging of 2 efics to the same forum works well if they are siblings.:) A and B are now bridged to the same forum,

what if I want the efic inside another folder  members/library/efic and the forum is Members/forum

I tried several combinations in queries.php for the paths, but nothing worked  unless I missed something.

This would be good for a seperate site section. What do I need to put in for the paths please?

Happy new year to you all

best wishes
Kate
