I have moved the forums/smf folder outside of the efiction to see if it would make any difference and am stuck on the paths again.
Can I just check the paths please. Would the path be ../ still or ../../ or ../Forums or the path to the smf plugin inside the cms.
The cms asked us for the absolute path which works great with the registering :).

I'm pretty sure that if the path was ../Forums when efic and smf were in the same folder that moving smf out of the efiction folder would make the path /Forums. However, I don't know what the path would be with your CMS thrown into the mix. I'm guessing that if you didn't change any of the SMF bridge, the path would still be the same, but if you did, you'd probably need the path to go to whichever program is handling your login/user/cookie info.
