Is there anyway to change the category format on the submission page to something like check boxes? I don't have subcategories. An author of my site is blind and his reading software cannot read the category box. I don't know PHP, but I know HTML, tables, frames, and css. Is there anyway to change this so he can submit fanfics on his own? Thanks! I'm running the latest version of 3.0.

Actually, it's funny you mention it. The plan on my forum was to do exactly that: Make the submission process more user friendly.
Noted some things on top of the horrid interface for picking options...
Like: We plan on using hidden DIVs so when you pick between a story or a chapter...? It only will show you the options for the one you want, instead of showing you BOTH.
Categories & Classifications will be radio selects, versus the cramped and small scroll fields they are.
We should talk. π
I'd like to talk a bout this as well ^^

I agree radio selects would be much better for the categories & classifications. I just have no idea how to go about doing that. Seems to be a lot of interest in this, maybe someone will help us. π
When I get things set up, I'll be sure to include the modifications here.
I have my people sold on the "SHOPPING CART" approach to submissions-- a few simple steps geared specifically for what you are attempting to submit, and then "check out" [ie; submit]... so, yeah. That's what it's going to be like when I am done.
I hope.
That would be great! Good luck and thanks.
