URL to your eFiction: amothea.slashcity.com/db/
Version of eFiction: 3.51
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: 5.2.5
Version of MySQL: 4.1.22-standard-log
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
If so, what terms did you try: captcha, spam reviews
State the nature of your problem: A few authors are getting spam reviews. I have the newest version of efiction installed captacha is turned on and I had allowed annoyomous reviews thinking the captcha would stop the spam bots but it appears they've found a way around it? I've turned off the annoyomous reviews for now but I'd like to have them back on.
Do you have a test account for us? Not really.

There is no captcha that will completely stop spammers. You can change out the fonts in the cfonts folder and that might help some.  Choose some fonts that more funky.

So you find these fonts online?

Yeah.  Do a search for fonts.  Watch the copyright though.

Thanks!

I did look through the cfonts folder and it appears that there are already 5 fonts listed. How do you select which one to use for the captcha settings?

It uses them all.  It randomly picks a font from within that folder for each letter.

That's usually what appears on the captcha in efiction.
