Hi there!
Yes, it's been mentioned in a few of the recent topics/posts made to the forum.
Nadia and Sheepcontrol are working on a new version of eFiction, but it will most likely be at least 6 months away (as there is obviously a lot of work to be done).

I hope the updates start coming faster then 4 years apart...

An unfortunate side-effect of volunteer-run and free scripts, I'm afraid.
If you've got any coding ability, I'm sure the new mods would appreciate any support you could offer!

We don't plan to wait 4 years between updates. Don't worry.
But we started from scratch. A whole new script. Please be patient, it's gonna be worth waiting for. π

Hi there:
I represent a large organization that runs a fiction site for its members. Will there be any options to be 'charter members' with some form of payment to help accelerate development (as with SMF)?

Hi,
although it often isn't, I do this for fun, so I would hate to feel a sense of duty to do stuff because of having been paid to do. I got that on my job already, and once is enough.
Should you, once we got this thing going, feel that "our work deserves a financial appreciation" - knock yourself out, there sure as heck will be a donate option.
I need to straighten out some things with the way templates are handled, once that's taken care of I think that it will be back to adding missing modules, the 6 months mentioned above are a worst case scenario, so come christmas we will all be running a halfway stable version. (Putting myself under a bit of pressure here, hope it helps).
