Dear Spookymulder... I haven't forgotten about article writing.  Now that nanowrimo is over, I can start catching up on everything that got tossed to the back burner... which was everything else... so yeah - LOTS of catching up to do in various areas. 😆

bah - another nanowrimo fanatic lol. My fanfiction buddy is always unavailable for the entire month of november as well and I find that mighty inconvenient. Hope you finished your book on time.

actually, I have stalled with the writing resource because I'm building a new site using the joomla software. It isn;t up on my site yet, it's on a test server still, but the resource will be much more useful with the new added capabilities a content manager will bring (as opposed to my basic html pages.) All of my html sites will be integrated into this one install and I cant wait to "unveil" it.

Can't wait to see what you'll come up with for the resource!

It's pretty nifty presentation-wise.  It was pretty but had me wanting to bang my head against the wall.
Sadly - for what I needed (not to mention my next to nonexistent coding skillz) it didn't suit at the time - that was about a year ago though.
I'm sure much has changed since then.

Thanks - and no kidding. There was a shiny smf layout that I couldn't resist - so of course...had to change the default layout....

The left sidebar content will definitely change to something custom soon.
I hate the way the recent stories seem all jumbled up... looks like that in most themes though...not sure how I'm going to fix it yet.

Wow... I LOVE your new layout! The cherry blossoms on the bottom in the corner are a really nice touch. The header, in my opinion, is a huge improvement and looks perfect. Excellent choice on the skin, it's really very nice. It's understated, clean and elegant. Perfect choice. Very well done!

Oh, I do like that forum skin. Did you get it off the SMF site? I like that it's a fixed layout. I've come to appreciate fixed/fluid layouts since I got my ginormous monitor at work, and realize just how hard something is to read when it's stretched out across 2000px. Of course, I don't usually leave my windows maximized, but sometimes I have to for testing, then when I click on a site where the layout stretches across the whole screen (like this one), it's jarring!

This one was so amazing, I just had to have it right away... was pretty easy to implement too.

The story archive at escape-ism - now matches the SMF forum - so it all looks like a part of the same site.
This was done using Kali's "E-Z Fiction" skin and DzinerStudio's "Outline" for SMF theme.

Wow, your site looks fabulous! I'm so jealous now. I thought my site was great and now I'm hanging my head a little lol. I really love it. Everything looks so professional I wish it was mine.  😮 Again, beautiful job. Round of applause. (Btw, hope you're enjoying the menace I got rid of. Png images are only FUBAR in IE6. In version 7 they display properly.
