Wouldn't it be hard to make skins and have people use them properly if I had changed the eFiction files myself? Cause I found lots of errors in the early release of 2.0 so I made changes to most, if not all, of the main directory files so they would fit to what I had wanted.
Maybe I'll get around to a Harry Potter theme. =)

What do you mean?
I end up editing all my skin files to be my own too and some of the coding for like search and such. 🙂 Most people on this site are tech savvy enough to be able to figure it out if the skin is a little different.
I believe that all skins should be customized to fit each archive with little differences, otherwise it's like using a bland skin that everyone else has. I'm pretty sure that everyone requesting the skin wants the layout in its purest form, not the exact color scheme and images and such that you used. But I could be wrong. 🙂

I think the thing is that I changed many of the files including the the forms (func.reviewform.php) among others, and also included my own "div id=" tags to things like the alphabet link at the top of the page and the page links at the bottom, and other stuff. But I guess as long as I leave those little things out, it'll be alright.

Yeah, I think so. 🙂 Stuff like that is more customization. I've edited a lot of my forms too. Just the basic skin files should be enough for a skin.
