Hi!
On our site http://fanfiction.oblonline.de/index.php we have a small problem...
Authors (user) can delete their reviews, but they aren't allowed to do that! In the site-settings I turned it off - but... they still can do it! what could be wrong???
please help!
Do you have the latest version of efiction 3.2.1? Have you modified your script in any way?

*pushes the thread up* I just noticed I have the same problem. Visiting the site today I saw that the review count was one down. This the stats mess up from time to time I checked the database - still one review missing. So I digged around a bit (meaning, I used my test-account) and found that I could easily delete reviews. I changed the settings to and fro but couldn't see it affect the site in any way.
I've changed the settings to "none", but everytime I revisit the settings page it's switched back to "all reviews".
You might want to post this as a bug, and not in General Support. 🙂

I took the easy way out and posted to the existing thread. Could you move it, maybe? I never quite know if something's a bug of my general inability to stay ahead of the coding on my site:)

I think i may have found a little bug in the review settings thing within the admin area
admin-->settings-->Review settings
on the Authors may delete reviews: option I have it set to none but when you save it to that option and it says The action was successful.
when you go back to the page it is set again to Authors may delete all reviews
just wondered if anyone else has had this issue and how to fix it (does doing that Can't respnd to reviews workaround - https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=4823.20 fix this issue too?)

It's still there in 3.3. Whatever I choose in that dropdown, it doesn't stick. If I come back to that page later, it's set to "All reviews" again.
Bump. This should be fixed with 3.3.1
Confirm fixed, i even gave the delete link to a tester and it gave 'unauthorized' error message as it should. vote topic relocation. Thanks.
