http://fanforge.net
updated install

What does this refer to? The whole site is basically down because of this.

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/*/itanshi/fanforge.net/header.php:385) in /home/*/itanshi/fanforge.net/header.php on line 459

Putting this problem aside, i'm going to try and recover my archive

What did you update to?  header.php in 3.5 only goes to line 401...  I would suggest deleting all your cookies for your site, since header.php deals with a lot of that stuff.  I had no pre-existing cookies/sessions for your site, and what I get is this:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare categoryitems() (previously declared in /home//itanshi/fanforge.net/includes/corefunctions.php:31) in /home//itanshi/fanforge.net/includes/corefunctions.php on line 610

Again, 610 does not exist.

I guess what it means is that it's duplicating accessing the files... I couldn't say why though. :

yeah, i tried to update from 3.4.3 to 3.5 and the php won't align with the mysql. I'm now trying to piece it together by hand, but I find more and more random problems. Currently at http://beta.fanforge.net I am so stuck into maintenance mode, i cannot even login as admin. the value is at 0 in settings and i do have an admin account, but I'll double check once again.

Hmm, someone else had that problem recently where they were stuck in maintenance mode.  Let me see if I can find the thread.

ETA: LOL that was you.  Never mind.  I'm looking at the site, though, and it's not in maintenance mode.  Perhaps clear your cookies/sessions?

sitekey inconsistency actually, I made them the same between builds so now i have it installed like 4 times, half broke, one without files. I'll keep hacking away at it. Can't say the real problem is fixed, but if my site works then, woo.

ok, the blocks section was acting up on me, I freshly imported that sql query and I think I can recover the archive now

now i realised that renaming folders was the quick way to change urls, but the new problem presisted. http://fanforge.net why does it look like that?

--

fixed, site restored. dunno what the original problem was, but it did have more to do with a bad upgrade
