I tried to delete an author from my site and I got the below error:
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: DELETE FROM hpfanfiction_favstor where sid = '804'
Error: (1146) Table 'hp.hpfanfiction_favstor' doesn't exist
Don't know, but this sort of looks like it plays off the upgrade problem I had when I upgraded to 3.1.
Note: It did delete her as a user, but I am sure that some of the info is still in the table.

I've been deleting a bunch of users, running 3.1.1. However it doesn't work (no error message though) if you use the delete button while editing profiles.
I'm about to upgrade to 3.2.1, as soon as the file uploads, though, and can let you know if there's any problems.
Okay, so as far as I can tell it works the same as before - I just updated to 3.2.1. Viewing a profile, if I click 'delete' it works fine. However, if I click 'edit' and attempt to use the delete link down by the submit button, nothing happens.
Since I'm going on an account-deletion rampage, I can also test this through the admin panel once I get back home (tomorrow), where my master list of invalid accounts is.
This will be fixed in the next update.
This will be fixed in 3.3. The delete link will no longer show up in the Edit Profile page for admins. The delete link on the profile page itself for admins to use will work.

I don't have any authors to delete at the moment, so I can't verify this bug as being fixed. Does anyone have someone they need to delete that could check the 3.3 version?
I did delete some regular members and had no problem though.

You could make an author and then delete it. Although if you deleted actual members, I'm not sure what the difference would be.

I'm a little late in replying, but I just upgraded to 3.3 and am going back through old posts to report on bugs. (Coincidentally I've got several hundred accounts to delete.) It works perfectly. : )
