This skin will work on all devices as long as you follow my instructions on the README.txt that you'll find within the zip.
To let it snow I used a javascript. To add the falling snow you'll have to tweak the header.php (main folder) a bit again.
Just add this

within your head section (circa line 400) right after the </style> tag.

I'm not Nadia, but I had the same issue. So Random/Feature Story/Recent Story are all "Blocks", and you can either use the Default Format or the Format you set up in a .tpl.
Go to Admin > Blocks then check first that the blocks are initiated and then click "Options" next to the block and see if the format is "Default" or "Use .TPL". If it's "Use .TPL" and these blocks work on your other skins, you will need to edit the index.tpl in the Frohn Weinachten folder .

I was wondering how can I change the items listed in the menu? I'd like to add a couple things like Top 10s and Search (the Search block is unsatisfactory, sadly). I'm just not sure how to have them appear, I presume edit the variables somehow?

LOL I kind of answered my own question, just need to edit the variables.php within the skin folder, and replace the defaults with what I want in the menu.

Thank you for your answer! I had already found the solution, in fact, I just edited the .tpl of the same skin. I did this comparing with other skins and it worked!
