Is there any hope of an SMF 2.0 bridge with eFiction? I'm tired of banging my head against a wall.

This may sound silly, but does register_globals, or register_long_arrays need to be enabled in PHP.ini?
I tried that, but the second command still leaves a blank page when going onto my eFiction site.
