I just did a search for YouTube in the forums, but what has been asked before isn't exactly what I am looking for. I have a few authors who have video trailers for their stories up on YouTube (really pretty). Now, my thought was that it would be cool if authors could embed videos into their stories - kind of like a teaser.
I just tried to simply embed a vid by copying the code into the story, but this doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? Or would this pose a security risk?
Disregarding security risks and all that... It's probably the HTML being stripped out if it isn't allowed.
In the admin settings, add <object><param><embed> in. That should work, I think.

I would say yes, it poses a security risk somewhat as you're allowing ALL embedded objects when you do this not just youtube.
