Ahhh, having a lot of problems trying to get e-fic to work on my server. I installed v 3.55 and the automatic installation of everything went through just fine this time (thank goodness). I tried to add a story as admin and press submit and nothing comes up. I edited it as featured, nothing shows on the main page. I tried a second time and nothing.
I signed up as a new user to see if I could do it as a new user and I dont even have the option to add a story.
As well as this it says that submission.php doesnt exist (comes up as a hyperlink on the HELP page) ...
If anyone could help me out with this, please let me know 🙂

"Nothing comes up" surely sounds like you got an error on your server and the error display disabled.
You could lookup in the error log if theres further information on that one.
