I am not sure what is wrong, but when I try to anchor a link or image on the news or welcome content area, it won't work, it will either show what I am trying to do or it will make it disappear completely. However, if I do the anchor in the custom pages it works fine. What am I doing wrong? I left up both errors, they are both on the index page of the archive in the welcome area and in the site news area.
Go to Admin->Settings->Site Settings
Where it says Allowed tags just add <a>
That's all and it should work.

That made it show the link, but it was supposed to show an icon for the affiliate area this is what I am trying to show there:
<a href="" http://twincest.blog.cz/" ;" target=_blank><IMG height=72 alt="TWINCEST.blog.cz - Bill & Tom only" src=""
"" width=150 border=0></a>
hmmm...its not showing here either...I just copied and pasted from the area they provided it.
Add the IMG tag to the list.
Okay, I added both the <img> and <a> tags and the <a> is working fine with the news post. But I still can't get the icon to appear in the welcome post?
If I'm remembering html skills you have to use quotations on all or on nothing so:
<a href="" http://twincest.blog.cz/" ;" target=_blank><IMG height=72 alt="TWINCEST.blog.cz - Bill & Tom only" src=""
"" width=150 border=0></a>
try it as:
<a href="" http://twincest.blog.cz/" ;" target="_blank"><IMG height="72" alt="TWINCEST.blog.cz - Bill & Tom only" src=""
"" width="150" border="0"></a>
Although I'm not sure your image is where it is suppose to be. The gif link seems to be broken.

I think you are right. I know of another way I can get it up on the site. I'll just do that and then I will contact the other site and let them know that their image is not working correctly. Thanks for helping with the tags though! You guys are awesome
Alright, it works now. I just uploaded the icon to my server and redirected the link. Goes to their site now at least
Yeah, the src url doesn't look right to me in your original post.
