Okay I've just started using this today so I'm new, so sorry if I sound stupid.

Everytime you try and write a story and click submit, then click on the story to read it no words come up, it's like it's not saving.

This may be something to do with it maybe? I'm not sure, anyways I added my story to a series and the following error popped up at the top of the page:

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 252

Warning: fopen(stories/1/1.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 254

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 260

Then when I try and edit the chapter (with no words because it's always deleted) this error pops up on top of the page:

Warning: fopen(stories/1/1.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 583

Then I tried editing the story and this came up:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 529

Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 530

Warning: fopen(stories/1/1.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/a1960553/public_html/Network/stories.php on line 532

Please tell me this is fixable! πŸ™

Please use the support request template at the top of the forum as well.  It'll help you tell us what we need to know to help you.

In addition to what Elle pointed you to. I suggest you go back and read the installation instructions again. I think you may have skipped the part about the stories folder and CHMOD.
