URL to your eFiction: http://www.cinemabizarrefiction.com/fiction/
Version of eFiction: 3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: Don't think I have.
Version of PHP: 5.2.6
Version of MySQL: 4.1.22-standard-log
Have you searched for your problem: Yes, but I have not found what I was looking for.
If so, what terms did you try: Nothing yet, I'm afraid to mess the site up.
State the nature of your problem: I wanted to change my url name and I did. It first had 'eFiction35' instead of  'fiction'. But if you go to http://www.cinemabizarrefiction.com/ (the url I originally want to use) I get some parent directory. How do I get rid of it?
Do you have a test account for us? I have (though I don't think it's necessary in this case):

Username: TestAdmin
Password: testadmin

Your files are probably in the wrong place. If efiction35 is the name of the folder you put your efiction files in, you probably need to take those out of that folder and put them in the root directory for your site.

Yes, take the files out of the fiction folder and put them in the root directory (usually name public_html or www). It's one level up. Or, alternatively, navigate to http://www.cinemabizarrefiction.com/fiction/ and put some other kind of placeholder index in public_html. But I think you'd rather do the former if you want people to be able to access http://www.cinemabizarrefiction.com and go right to your eFiction site.

If your host supports it you could also redirect using .htaccess file and mod_rewrite.  Do a google search for instructions on how to do that.

Okay, I found the www file, it's 2 levels up actually... so now I go to the fiction folder, select all files, click the 'move' button, select the path (www) to place it in and everything should be fine? I'm just asking, before I do something stupid, I hope you don't mind. Thank you both for the help so far!

I think you want one level up not 2 according to what we're seeing.  If 1 level up doesn't work, move it one more.

justMelissa: sounds right. I typically use FTP for managing a lot of files. I find it easier. (It sounds like you're using something web-based?)  Like Tammy said, though, it should be only one level up from fiction. But I think on most servers www really just points to public_html, though usually they are on the same level. Give it a try and see what happens.
