URL to your eFiction: www.tabootwins.com
Version of eFiction: 3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: 5.2.11
Version of MySQL: 4.0.21
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: fatal error, mysql, database
State the nature of your problem: I went in to create a database for a different part of my site and I realized I could not remember the user password that I use for my databases, so I changed it, after doing so I got this...

A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
ERROR: Failed to connect to the database!

my index page still works, but I am guessing that is because its not located inside the efiction database.
is there a way I can fix this?
Do you have a test account for us? Yes, name: emerald password: oolala

Never mind, I fixed it. For anyone else having a similar problem, go in and edit the config.php to the correct information and then re upload to your server.
