Do you have a test account for us? No. The site works. I just don't know how to do what I want done.
I want each category (Main category, Type, Plot, Warnings, Characters, Crossover fandoms, etc.) to have their own box instead of being smushed into one big conglomerate. How do I do that? This site did it: http://www.ksarchive.com/search.php?searchtype=advanced . The boxes are in a slightly different format when you post a story, but again each category has its own box. That's what I'm currently trying to figure out how to do or at least trying to find a guide on how to do it. Thank you for your help and your time.

You haven't created any category or warnings and genres yet. Once you do those things will appear in an Advanced Search.
If you look at your advanced search: http://www.squidge.org/kirkmccoy/search.php?searchtype=advanced
It only shows characters and ratings. One you add other things like warnings, genres, etc. (for instance like the example you cited) they will appear like that.You will notice on mine ( http://fics.babaca.org/search.php?searchtype=advanced) I don't have as many things listed.

BTW. These are "Classifications" not categories (which are a separate thing). You'll find you can add these through the Admin area.
