URL to your eFiction: http://www.twihardfic.com
Version of eFiction:3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?:No
Version of PHP: PHP 5.x
Version of MySQL: 5.0
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
If so, what terms did you try:User Email Error / User Email/ Email
State the nature of your problem: After sending the Mass User Email an Internal Sever 500 Error pops up. Now I did find out that after an hour or so the very last person to join did receive the email, so I am almost positive that everyone got it.
A few facts that may help, my website currently has less than 200 members.
I deleted 2 Members shortly before sending out this email and worry that may have somehow effected it.
When sending emails to Just Admins or just Authors I do get the confirmation page, & everything works just fine.
Could this Error be a timed out issue since the messages take awhile to be sent to the most recent members?
Do you have a test account for us?I have a "Admin" account that you may use to test this issue.

Thank You for any and all help,
Cella

That message is being generated by the server, not eFiction. I'm not really familiar with the mail feature (my site's got too many users for me to utilize it), but maybe it was too much for the server. Although <200 emails doesn't really seem like a lot. I think my hosting company has a limit of 200 emails/hour, though, so maybe it is?

One reason I do know of that message appearing is discussed here: https://efiction.org/wiki/index.php5?title=Server_Errors_and_CURL

You probably tripped a spam trigger.  The mass email was written a long time ago when spam wasn't quite the problem it is now and methods for fighting it weren't as sophisticated.

Is there another way you would recommend to email information out to registered members?

I'd probably try mailchimp.com.
