Whenever anyone tries to send me an e-mail through the "Contact Us" page, they get the following error:

The email could not be sent. Please contact the administrator to report this problem.

I don't understand what could be causing this since I haven't changed my e-mail or password in the Admin section, and nothing has really happened that I can think of to cause the forms to no longer work. People have been e-mailing me or contacting me on LJ to let me know about this problem, but I have NO clue how to go about fixing it! Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance guys!

I would first try another email just to see what happens. I'm not really sure what triggers that message. Let me look through the code and see.

Are you using a gmail account as your contact us address? Sometimes that acts up. Has your email provider upgraded any settings like SSL?

Hi,

No I use comcast.net, which has worked fine since I opened the archive back in 2006. I think it's only been in the last couple of months that it's been acting like this. I don't think that they have done anything that they wouldn't have informed their users.

Lyndsle, I don't have another e-mail account to use to try. I just have a comcast account.

Are you set up to use SMTP?  If so, comcast has probably closed the default port.  Try taking the smtp information out and letting the script send through sendmail.
