URL to your eFiction: http://negaverse.net/fics/
Version of eFiction: 3.3.2 upgraded to 3.3.5
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: N/A
Version of PHP: PHP 5.6
Version of MySQL: 5.6.25-log
Have you searched for your problem: Yes
If so, what terms did you try: efiction update
State the nature of your problem: I copied over the new files from the 3.5.5 upgrade. When I go to my site I get "This update has already been completed. No further action is needed", notification, but if I try to click on any links, including my admin panel, it just redirects me to the update.php page.

The install folder is not present, is there something else I need to delete so it won't redirect to update.php?

I can still log in and out of my admin account, but clicking anywhere else on the site will just redirect to update.php.

Do you have a test account for us? No

Were you able to fix it?  I went to your site and was able to click around just fine without being signed in.

No, I reverted back to the previous version I had (backed it up) so it wasn't stuck. I haven't attempted it again since.

It's nothing wrong with the new files it's just that the settings don't properly update. There are two ways to fix this:

1. Make sure the version in the settings table is changed to 3.5.5 (it probably says 3.5.3)
2. OR if you'd rather not mess with the table, open version.php in your main directory and change the 3.5.5 to 3.5.3

Either way will take care of the issue and you will have your new files πŸ™‚
