Hi I am a regular user of fanfiction.net and they have brackets around the characters that are a couple, how do I do that in my fanfiction sites?
Hi Lulu,
I've never posted on fanfiction.net, but with eFiction you can add pairings as CATEGORIES or CLASSIFICATIONS.
- An example of CATEGORIES: http://www.tomparisdorm.com/browse.php?type=categories (these are then available by the drop-down Category menu on the browse/recent page)
- An example of CLASSIFICATIONS: http://www.bloodties-fans.com/fiction/browse.php?type=class&type_id=2 (you can then actually see a "Pairings" dropdown box in the browse/recent page for this option.
If you wanted to have show that actual pairing in brackets at the end of the description after you've selected your method above, you'd need to edit the applicable TPL file. Let me know which option you've selected (or link to your archive) and I can let you know which TPL file to edit.
There might be other ways, but I think these are the most common. I also believe that the new and upcoming version of eFiction will handle this a lot easier.
