If so, what terms did you try: can't edit stories, editing stories, story uploads, text not showing in stories and others I can't really remember.
State the nature of your problem: Copy and paste any errors you are receiving.
This wasn't a problem about a week ago. But I went to edit a story of mine. I uploaded a text file. It had basic html formatting in it, bold, italic, etc, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. The problem is that only the header I have written in my story will show up. After the (less than) hr (greater than) sign, everything else gets cut off.
Okay, I just re-uploaded the story and now even the hr tag is cut off. You can see what I mean here.

It does the same thing when editing stories, and it doesn't matter if they're copied and pasted or uploaded.
Do you have a test account for us? Yes. Username is testerz and password is test2010
You've got to set it so the test account can add stories.
All right. It's set. The test account can now add stories. I accidentally deleted the one where you can see what's going on so I uploaded another.

Thank you so much.
The story text is present in that story.
ETA I was able to add a story using the test account. I was also able to edit the story just fine.
You can see the whole story? For the admin account, all I can see is the header. Not the eFiction header, but the header in my story. And I know for a fact that the story has more text in it. Did you just see the title info and stuff or the actual story as well?
Should I give you my admin username and a pw for it so you can see what I mean? I'll log in as testerz and see if I can see what you see.
I checked out the testerz account and it's still doing the same thing. It's doing it on my other archive as well. Do you think I should upload an older version of the database or something?
I think you have something in your story text that is being stripped out. It's either a word forbidden on your server like curl or an HTML tag that you've included in your text that's not in your allowed list. It's not the script. That's working right.
Yes that was it! I had a less-than sign where there shouldn't be one. I didn't even realize it since I use a screenreader and couldn't actually see the screen. Thanks so much for your help.
