Some users are also being randomly stuck in the validation queue, which we don't even use. This problem appeared first.
Some users are losing their chapter text when they update. Everything else appears (notes, etc), but no text
This happened shortly after we installed 3.5.3 and was made worse when we tried to install the newer files in the SVN.
I suspect this is a host issue, but I figured we'd try here first. I've uploaded the files again and made sure everything is CHMODed correctly.

Well the missing chapter text could be caused by the insert id issue. I'm not sure how things could be getting into the validation queue though.
I tried the new mysqli file. I replaced it with the old one today to see if things get even worse or not.

Alright. I updated the file in the SVN again. See if that helps. I suggest you try a test story/chapter. If it continues to happen try uncommenting line 42 and commenting out line 43.

Straight from the SVN, the chapter became lost in the wilds of the internet. I could see it right after I posted it, but it didn't post to the story index. At least it had text though.
Edit: I found them. They were in the validation queue. 😕 I was posting from an admin account too.
Yet another edit: And now I tried from the non-admin test account and it went right through. Other non-admins have gotten caught in the queue though.
