URL to your eFiction: It's on my computer, using the latest version of EasyPHP. I don't have a webhost right now.
Version of eFiction: 3.5.2
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: N/A
Version of PHP: 5.3.2
Version of MySQL: 5.1.45
Have you searched for your problem: No, but I did look manually.
If so, what terms did you try: N/A
State the nature of your problem: I'm logged in as the admin (and only) user, and yet it's as if I'm not an admin. The script seems to think I'm a normal user, even though I entered the same login details at the end of the installation process. I can't figure out why I'm being seen as a regular, unprivileged user. There aren't any PHP/MySQL errors I can see. Thank you ahead of time for any help you can give.
Do you have a test account for us? N/A

Use phpmyadmin to check the database.  Go to the authors table and look at the "level" column for user # 1 (which should be you).  If the level is anything but 1, you need to change it to 1.

I think Tammy meant fanfiction_authorprefs, not fanfiction_authors.
