I'm having trouble with my FTP, PHP etc, etc.. I have installed efiction onto my server, but I'm unsure how to make it my index. Right now it comes up as http://glamouriser.com/fanfiction/ how can I make it be http://glamouriser.com and be there.. ?

I know this seems very noobish, but I've gotten this far, and I'd hate to give up now.

P.S - Also, if anyone could help me replace my banners on my site with actual ads, that would be lovely. Thankyou (:

Thankyou if anyone replies!

At the moment, your eFiction files are in a folder called "fanfiction". If you move them to your parent directory then it will appear as glamouriser.com πŸ™‚

I am not sure what you mean by the second question.

Do I take them all out and put them in my public/html, or in my / directory?

As to the 2nd question, I managed to fix that, thankyou (:

It should be public_html that your domain name points to, so public_html is its root. If your files are currently in public_html/fanfiction, the answer is definitely yes. Whatever the case, you want to move them up one level.

Thankyou! This helped alot πŸ˜€
All you had to say was drag the files to the two little dots and I would've been golden πŸ˜€ LOL.. But I looked up the definition of Parent Directory and it said where to put it.
Thankyou very much!!
