Alright, so I have a few users whose emails aren't working, and they get bounced back to me. Some of them were typos, but I can't find any other problems with the others. The users aren't getting emails from the site while the rest of the members are. I went into the profiles to put the emails in myself, but it is telling me that they are invalid. Why is the happening?
Can you describe what you mean by putting the emails in yourself? Are you changing their email addresses in their profiles? Or are you trying to send an email via the link in the profile?
I think what might be useful is to look at what kind of email addresses they are. If they are all Yahoo or Hotmail or something like that, it could be helpful know. Sometimes you (or someone else on a shared server) can get blacklisted as a spammer and people won't get emails because of that. Make sure to have them check their spam folders.
Also, automated emails like the ones sent by eFiction sites are often flagged as spam and sent to the user's trash or spam folder. Have your users add your site's email to their contacts list to avoid this.
I have it working now, I am not sure what was wrong.
