You can't log in either? Then yes, it's definitely the same issue and it's almost certainly a problem with your host not the script. Tell them $_SESSION variables aren't being saved at all for your site.
No, I can log in just fine, except for if you don't click the "remember me" box, it will log you out when you try to click on a new page. If the remember me button is clicked at the time of sign in, then there are no problems.
Not sure if this is related or not. I'm so very new to this, but it was a thought.

Yeah. It's only logging you in if a cookie is saved. That means that the host's $_SESSION settings on your server are most likely messed up. There are no $_SESSION variables being saved at all. Which is strange because I could have sworn when I was looking at it earlier I was able to change skins, but that's not working now either. That means no $_SESSION data is being saved for your site.
Is there somewhere I could check for that in my Cpanel?
I'm glad I mentioned that now. I guess I know why things are wonky. I have not had any trouble changing the skin, even when I log out. I don't know it that'll make a difference or not.
What does it do for you when you try to change it? Does it white screen or just stay on the same skin?
My hosts customer service tries to be helpful but they seem like they have no idea what they are doing sometimes. That doesn't help me when this is my first website and I'm learning this all for myself. lol
Ah, it never ends. Thanks so much Tammy. You are most helpful in everything. Sorry I keep bugging you all about this. I'm just so frustrated and have done all this work. I am ready to get this site open so I can read some awesome stories.

Actually, I contacted my host and told them the problem. It took them three minutes to update the sessions data and viola! Everything works now. Squeeeeee!
This has been a nightmare. I contacted them yesterday and told them what was happening and they couldn't help me. I told them exactly what you told me Tammy and it worked great. Thank you so much for your help. I would not have been able to give them what they needed to fix this without you.
It might be a good idea to add this to the captcha section in the wiki since several people have had issues with this. Just a thought.
Thanks again for all your help. I am a very happy girl now.
